Our story begins 200 years ago: A capable young man named Peter Kölln built an oat mill at the harbor to provide the Elmshorn seafarers with provisions.
We are still a family business today – and since the company was founded we have gained a lot of knowledge about the special grain oats. With this experience and a large portion of passion, well-loved classics such as delicate Kölln flakes , Kölln chocolate oat muesli or our Kölln crispy oatmeal ® were created . In addition, there are always new creations that reinvent the enjoyment of oats.
We traditionally make our oat specialties using only the best ingredients. We are committed to conventional as well as regional and ecological cultivation of oats so that we can use the best oats for all products.
Of course, all other ingredients are also selected and processed according to particularly high quality standards – with all the knowledge that we have had since 1820.
