We see food law regulations and guidelines as minimum requirements that must be exceeded. For this we work according to strict internal hygiene regulations.
Nevertheless, the HENGLEIN production facilities are regularly audited and certified by a wide variety of testing bodies. We meet the requirements of the IFS (International Featured Standard) for consistently high quality and the BRC (British Retail Consortium) and thus comply with the global standard for food safety.

The quality of HENGLEIN products is subject to regular checks by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), which certifies that we have an “above-average enjoyment value” every year. But the suppliers are also checked by HENGLEIN or external auditors after strict checks to ensure the optimal quality of the raw materials.
In order to meet the high demands, only selected ingredients are used at HENGLEIN. The main raw material, the potato, is sourced purely from German cultivation. The eggs are free range and wheat flour comes exclusively from regional suppliers.
